The Web Summit, originally Dublin Web Summit, is a technology conference held annually since 2009. The topic of the conference is centered on internet technology and I went looking for multiple innovation angles and left actually disappointed. Furthermore trending technology such as AI and robotics challenge today’s market and Vanderlande’s business model. BigData is all the rage in Silicon Valley. And though they use the massive sets of data they collect to help create a better experience for their consumers (such as customized ads or tailored movie recommendations), their primary goal is to use what they learn to maximize profits.
