“Designthinking draws on logic, imagination, intuition and systemic reasoning to explore the possibilities of what could be, and to create desired outcomes that benefit the end user (the customer). A design mind-set is not problem-focused, it’s solution-focused, and action-oriented. It involves both analysis and imagination.
IdeaScale was introduced to Ibbaka because they are working with us on a very special project to help us innovate on our business model, but we were impressed at their experience, conversancy in designthinking and innovation and passion for subjects like growth models. In this post, I’d like to talk about how designthinking complements crowdsourced innovation. Designthinking is a well-known, highly-effective and enjoyable method that encourages people to open their minds and take a different approach to problem solving. The two methods are a natural fit.
