Pitching the reasons to change to Innovation Ecosystems in thinking and design So after working through the values of the Innovation Ecosystem over a series of three posts I asked ChatGPT to help me in making a pitch for the change from existing internal orientated innovation processes and structures.
Back in February, ChatGPT, the popular AI chatbot, passed a medical licensing exam. This exercise, cosponsored by Massachusetts General Hospital, highlighted the potential benefits of ChatGPT (or any AI chatbot) in the future treatment of medical conditions. Is it a disruptive innovation? Is it a sustaining innovation?
It almost sounds like an oxymoron, but with the help of generative AI systems like ChatGPT—OpenAI’s advanced AI language model that’s all the rage these days—you can take a lot of weight off your shoulders by streamlining your innovation processes, so you can have a bit more structure and creativity without the headaches.
Not only will the top selective undergraduate programs likely be OK, but they almost certainly won’t be “disrupted” at all. But not disrupted—as the word is understood when we’re talking about the Theory of Disruptive Innovation that Christensen coined. Disruptive innovations initially expand the pie, in other words.
Proactively Managing Risks: Identify potential risks early and develop contingency plans to navigate challenges with minimal disruption. Examples: ChatGPT , Google Gemini , Microsoft Copilot , Claude A.I.-Powered toolbox , ChatGPT , Google Gemini , Microsoft Copilot , Streamlining Workflows with A.I.:
We carry supercomputers around in our pockets that give us unprecedented access to information and emerging services like ChatGPT give us almost superhuman powers to process it. For all the talk about disruption and change, the status quo usually prevails. This wasn’t inevitable.
