When you do not have a clear definition of design thinking of where and how it can actually fit, how it works or means, it continuously suffers from a lack of clear assignment, it makes it feel a little bit of an oddball. There is a different pathway ahead, otherwise, Design Thinking in its existing form alone will fail.
Some forward-thinking members of the LinkedIn Group Innovation Management (approx 40,000 members around the world) recently suggested general definitions and voted on them. There are 33 definitions in the list below. Interestingly some said we shouldn't have a general definition, that it's specific to the situation.
